Frequently Asked Questions
What is my assigned meal plan?
1st year students are automatically assigned the Panther Platinum Unlimited Meal Plan.
2nd year students are automatically assigned the Panther Silver Meal Plan.
3rd, 4th and graduate students are automatically assigned the Block 60 Meal Plan.
Can I change my meal plan?
Financially enrolled students may visit the PantherPAW Card office to address changes to their meal plan selection within two weeks of the meal plan start date excluding first year students. Second year, third year, fourth year and graduate students may upgrade to a meal plan of equal or greater value of their assigned meal plan. The difference will be charged to your account.
How do I know which plan to choose?
Meal plans are open to both on-campus and commuter students, along with faculty and staff. All residential students, commuter freshmen, commuter sophomore, commuter junior and commuter senior students are required to participate in a meal plan. Meal plans are available for purchase for graduate commuter students, but not required. Those wishing to upgrade their meal plan or purchasing a new meal plan may access Bannerweb through the CAU website; visit Residence Life on campus, located in Bishop Cornelius Henderson Student Center, Main Floor, Suite 245; or you may also retrieve the form from the Residence Life website. With so many choices, are you still not sure which plan to choose? Consider your eating habits and how frequently you'll be on campus. Do you eat three-square meals a day and live on campus or are you just attending classes three days a week and need something to grab and go.
Can I cancel my meal plan?
Meal plans cannot be cancelled once financially enrolled. However, graduate students have the choice to opt out. There may be a fee associated with doing so.
